Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, a distinguished institution in Northern India, consistently excels in CISCE board examinations, with alumni securing placements in premier universities globally. In addition to prestigious Indian institutions such as IITs and Delhi University, students attend conferences at esteemed international universities including Cambridge, Harvard, and MIT. Established in 1974, with Smt. Indira Gandhi laying the foundation stone and Dr. Fakhruddin Ali Ahmed inaugurating it, the school boasts of achievements that extend beyond academics.
Students outshine in a plethora of events. Some of the notable ones being reputed Debates, Declamations, Model United Nations conferences, Olympiads, Music, Athletic meets, and Quizzes, garnering accolades nationally as well as internationally. This excellence was exemplified when our students secured trophies at Spring Fest, the annual socio-cultural festival of IIT Kharagpur, outshining the colleges from across India.
Comfest is the annual techno-cultural-literary festival of Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Kanpur. Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it epitomizes student initiative and ingenuity, being managed exclusively by the Jaipuria Computer Club (JCC), with teacher involvement, being negligible. Comfest encompasses a diverse array of events spanning mental agility, literary finesse, technical prowess, and creative flair, showcasing the latest trends in these realms.
From its fresh endeavors in 1999, with mere nine participating schools to one of India's largest student-organized school events, its overwhelming success transformed it from a local one-day event into an international four-day extravaganza, attracting over 55 schools worldwide throughout its 25-year journey.
Incentivizing fundraising efforts, a highlight of Comfest is the star-studded entertainment evening, featuring renowned Indie musicians and Bollywood bands, adding to its appeal and charisma. In line with the ethos of promoting healthy competition and inclusivity, the JCC shoulders the majority of expenses, waiving participation and accommodation fees for outstation schools-a practice they intend to maintain in future editions. As the Jaipuria Computer Club celebrates its 25th anniversary, it aspires to surpass past achievements, aiming to attract esteemed institutions worldwide and redefine the boundaries of success.
